About the Author
Rudolph Ballentine, M.D. is a respected leader in the field of alternative and complementary medicine. A physician and psychiatrist, he studied medicine in the U.S., psychology in the U.S. and France, and both Ayurveda and homeopathy in India. Dr. Ballentine directed the combined Therapy Programs of the Himalayan International Institute as well as the Center for Holistic Medicine in New York City for over fifteen years. He is presently engaged in private practice in New York City.
